The auxiliary was founded on the efforts of Fr. McGivney’s principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Blessed Fr. McGivney is the founder of the Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. The Lady of the Forest Ladies Auxiliary is in affiliation with the Knights of Columbus Council # 11730.
As members of the Lady of the Forest ladies auxiliary, we participate as a Catholic family in many community and parish projects and other activities with Council # 11730.
Independently, the ladies support parish events, such as the church picnic, Roses for Life Campaign, and Youth Group Ministry events. The auxiliary holds fundraisers, such as bake and craft sales, that raise funds for their Teddy Bear project and contributions to other charities.
